Visiting Rye Cemetery in Palmetto, Florida
Rye Cemetery is a family cemetery located within a preserve on the southwest coast of Florida in the town of Parrish. Known as Rye Preserve in Manatee County, the usual preserve activities include: hiking, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, primitive camping, and picnicking. Should you decide to visit the cemetery, respect the property at all times; seashells or sea rocks may be left by the Rye family headstones. While sixteen graves have been identified, photos of seven have been taken and listed below:
